Sleeping at the YHA was difficult with this noisy Unionist pub outside the window. Look at the red, white & blue kerbstones.
After breakfast, we took a self-guided 'Lonely Planet' walk around the city, here are some of the fine buildings.
The town hall and city coat-of-arms.
Queen's University and the Methodist College (Ruth's school).
River Lagan flows down to the docks and becomes Lough Lagan, past Carrickfergus to the sea.
Plenty of separatist messages here.

We'll be up early tomorrow morning to catch a bus to Belfast City Airport for our flight to Edinbourgh.
