Exeter again

We had another visit to Exeter today to check we could find the airport & rental-car dropoff place (we're glad we did, no petrol stations and we got lost), then went back into the city centre for some shopping. We happened upon this little old church, St. Pancras, right in the middle of modern shops. Parts of the church date from 1191 and some from the 13th century.

Last night, Doug was on the prowl with the camera and flash to try and get a photo of the Were-Rabbit that has been digging up parsnips and turning on the burglar lights. But the creature turning on the lights are bats, and getting one in a photo was nigh on impossible. But he did see where the chooks roost. In a tree outside their run!

No news of a huge black cat that used to terrorize the moors then?!!Photos were actually taken of it...it used to break into chook runs.
